Dear Friends, 2011 has turned out to be quite a year. The folks at Cedar Creek Media did a great job with the documentary film – you can see it for yourself at home as we are now selling the DVD – same price as Amazon.com. I hope you had a chance to see it on the “big screen” – frankly it was a little unnerving for me and very humbling. I spent the better part of the early summer traveling and viewing the film around the country and answering questions after the screenings. It was wonderful to see all of you and to share some time with you. The film certainly did open up my clinics to a lot of new people who may have never heard of me before and so we have seen a surge in folks coming as spectators. That’s good but it means we have to limit the number of spectators at some of the clinics out of respect for the sponsors and their families. Many of the places simply can’t take 300 or 400 people where maybe there were 50 or so the year before. So if you see on the schedule that a clinic is sold out and there is “limited spectator space,” that’s why. Hope you will understand. But call the sponsor and they will be happy to tell you. I still haven’t changed my general view of email, so if you have emailed me over the course of the last year - please forgive me for not getting back to you. I don't have a staff - it's just me. If you have specific questions for me, you can post them to me at PO Box 1782, Santa Ynez, CA 93460 or email the website. Bill will get your letters to me - wherever I am, but realize it could take some time. If you have a question about an order or something on the website, you can email using the form below or send an email to inquiry@brannaman.com and it will be answered by Bill or Kristin - probably Kristin – who run the site. Kristin can pretty much answer any question you have. The main thing is this, if you have a specific horse question, come to a clinic with it. It’s the best way to get the answer. My clinics, for what’s left of 2011, are full. And as I said above, many are also full regarding spectators. We take no reservations for spectators but my clinic sponsors have done this long enough, and they have a feel based on the number of calls they get. If you have a question about a clinic - please call the sponsor, as they will have your answer. For 2012, we will try to add many of the sponsors' email addresses, as I know many of you do prefer to communicate that way. We will be putting up the 2012 schedule shortly. One thing everyone seems to be asking about is whether there will be a movie of the The Faraway Horses. The answer is yes. Bill and I are working on it now. More on that to follow.
